evaluation question 4 'Who would be the audience for your media product?'

The audience for my media product would be mostly teenagers from the ages of 13-19. this is because it stars male actors aged 17 which would appeal to both male and female teens. Also the place it is set would appeal to a younger audience. we wanted to have a young audience because they are the majority of movie watchers.


The results of my research showed that people of the ages of 11-24 enjoy thrillers most. this gave us a clear target audience to work for.

The target gender is mostly male but there is also a large portion of female who enjoy thrillers.

the characters in the film are both male so there isn't the conventional weak woman, this role is played by the victims of the antagonist. 

My target class of working class because of the setting of the film and the story line also working class teenagers are the majority of cinema goers. Although i believe that middle and upper class teenagers would also be attracted to this film because it is unknown and they might want to see how working class live.
