Digital camcorder which we took away and used independently. After practising with the camera it is simple to use and easy to capture the shots which i need.
Tripod is a very useful piece of equipment it keeps the camera still and stops the camera from shaking. it can also be used to steady the camera while doing a tracking shot. while this doesn't work as well as a steady cam but steady cams are extremely expensive. so a tripod it a cheap way of steadying the camera.
Microphones are very useful for getting diagetic sound, they are easy to use and helpful when trying to capture sound discreetly. the microphones we used were small and compact which helped when filming as it can be hidden when on film.
the soft ware i learnt to use was;
Final cut express is a piece of editing software which is easy to use once you understand the basics. it is useful for what we was doing which was putting our film together and adding music to it with some fades.
photoshop is used for editing photos, i used this to create my ident its simple to use, and easily understood. it is used by many professional photographers so the software must be of a high quality.
internet sites such as;
blogger are what i used to create and document my blog which u put all my course work i completed on so my teachers can see it and i can access it on any computer. i can also log on using my phone which came useful when a computer isn't available.
survey monkey is used to create surveys, i used this to create my survey on audience research. this website is useful but i was restricted because i only had a trial which meant that i couldn't use all the features.
youtube is the site i posted my videos onto to access the videos anyway easily. this came in useful when asking people to watch and give me feedback on my thriller.
Through out this assignment i learnt how to use multiple sites, hardware and software which will come in useful in the future. i also enhanced those skills to a higher level than i had before.
