Evaluation Question 7 'looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learned in the progression from it to the product?'

Our preliminary task was far from a success we took a few minutes to think up a simple story and script. we didn't make a shooting schedule, animatic, or a story board. This meant we just made it up as we went along. Comparing to our final thriller we spent more time planning and preparing what we were going to do and i think this is the reason it is much more improved.
The shots flowed much better on the second time we filmed because we simply had more practice and had the idea of what we wanted in our heads.

The setting which we spent a lot more time thinking of compared to the preliminary helps set the scene of the film much better. Also the lighting compared to the preliminary helps the audience to see what is on screen much more clearly.

In the preliminary task we didn't use the microphone correctly so there was no sound. Because of this when filming the final thriller we were sure to check and do it correctly.
We were sure to keep the continuity throughout the entire film, this is why we had to go and film some parts again because there was some snow in some of the shots we had filmed when it had snowed and this didn't match up with the shots we had from before.
